EUSR Products for Drinking Water Scheme (PfDW)
The Products for Drinking Water scheme will support compliance by providing awareness of the relevant water regulations, requiring that all chemicals, materials and components in contact with drinking water need to be approved and tested to confirm they do not compromise water quality. This scheme is suitable for operatives, supervisors and management and is aimed at water industry personnel who are involved in activities associated with drinking water.
Description
Prices from £170.00pp for a full course of 12 candidates, however each course is costed accordingly depending on the clients location and the number of candidates requiring the training. The course can only be delivered in person and requires a minimum of 3 candidates.
Costs shown on the website include the EUSR registration and virtual card(s).
Candidates receive virtual cards (accessible on mobile phone) instead of physical plastic cards. If plastic cards are still required as an addition, these can be added to your order at checkout. Please note, a plastic card cannot be ordered in replacement of a virtual card.

Course Duration: Approx. 4 – 5 hours
Registration: Certification is valid for 3 years following successful completion of training and assessment on a course approved by EUSR. The registration is renewed on completion of this course.

The Products for Drinking Water scheme is developed in collaboration with UK Water companies and key stakeholders from across the water industry. The content covers all the required knowledge and awareness of the relevant regulations and their applications in drinking water.

Module 2: Scope and Applicability of the Regulations and the Consequences of not Complying
Module 3: The Regulators’ List of Approved Products for Drinking Water
Module 4: Instructions for use associated with a Product
Module 5: Small Surface Area Products
Module 6: The Regulation of Water Treatment Chemicals
Module 7: Specific Requirements in the Regulations
Module 8: Seeking Advice and Record Keeping
Once the training and assessment has been completed, delegates should understand the vital part they play in complying with regulations and protecting public health.
Course Duration and Assessment
The course duration is around 4-5 hours. The course is a face-to-face trainer-led delivery and candidates are invited to share and discuss experiences with the group. The course involves a multiple-choice test consisting of 25 questions set by EUSR and marked by the EUSR Approved Trainer.
